This is really a great achievement for me , for one who is ultra picky on food . There is a whole list of foods that I have never tried and will not try . Weird ? so it is ! but I cant help it , the habit is unexplainable . I am puzzled myself . Most of the time I blame it on the strong sense of smell that I am gifted , albeit to my own disadvantage in the food sense .
Food That I Dont Eat
Meat - all except chicken , pork , venison .Dairy Products ( milk , cheese ..... )
Salad dressings , all white creamy stuffs...
AND
Any other food(s) that I have not tried before !
The result - I am limiting myself to eating food that I always eat ! Some friends feel exasperated trying to coax me to " just try ! " So , I feel a great achievement having tried Korean food tonite for the first time and even like it ! I can now consider a trip to Korea ! T
Korean Drama
I have been sucked into K- Drama since watching Brilliant Legacy in 2010 .When friends hear that I am into “Korean Drama” ,they just roll their eyes at me as if saying " hey ! what happen to you ? "
Well , I didnt know how it happened but it happened , I find each episode leaves me wanting more!
Rationalising my new " past time "
I love to watch fashion in the shows. Korean people have an interesting taste in fashion. They wear some of the most interesting outfits, things that you would not imagine someone wearing on any given day. Designers create art that people can wear every day and designers for Korean clothing, especially for these dramas, are extremely creative & they look so cool!Korean TV dramas used to not travel much beyond Korea's borders, but beginning in the late 1990s they began to acquire a strong following throughout east and southeast Asia.. A great number of TV and film stars also owe their current popularity to the success of TV dramas.But in my opinion , the vice versa is true . The actors and actresses are simply the cutest and most gorgeous !
My favorite part of all has been the soundtracks. After every drama I used to look up the soundtracks . Korean music is so beautiful and the love songs are so pretty. I may not always understand exactly what they are saying, but the music itself is beautiful.

ReplyDeleteEver since I was caught by the K-drama & to an almost equal extent , K-pop craze , Korea attracts my attention .I became interested in the country and want to know more. Had been considering visitng Korea but was held back on all occasions fearing having nothing to eat there. After the night out last evening with my 3 friends , I think I can start looking out for a suitable tour package.
