What my doc said !

Doc called at about 1 pm ( his lunch hour , am honoured !) just to inform me that everything is good with my medical tests .He has forgotten that I was supposed to see him again for a review ( my reaction to Cozaar , whether it has brought my BP down ) at 3 pm this afternoon too . Doc was actually in a superb mood when I stepped into his office . Happy with my readings ( he said it was 130 - very good - it seems ) I took the reading just before i came ( 119/72 ) On going through the medical test results , this is what he said YOUR LIVER AND KIDNEY FUNCTION PERFECT YOUR THYROID FUNCTION BACK TO NORMAL , STOP MEDICATION WHEN I FINISH THE MEDICINE. LDL / HDL BOTH HIGH CHOLESTEROL - A BIT HIGH . RECOMMENDATION - GO ON DIET ) To see him again when he comes back from UK in 2 weeks time ! I am really grateful , pleased and relieved to get the report today .

Counting my blessings , with utmost thanks & gratefulness ! 1) J returns both texted messages to us . 2) doc 's call Doc made a call at around 1 pm today ( 30 August 2012) to inform me that everything is good with my medical tests . 27.8.2012 ( monday ) - saw doc about raised BP readings .Fasted 9 pm 28.8.2012 ( Tuesday ) - Blood Tests + BP readings ( lowered but still high ) 30.8.2012 ( wednesday ) - received the blood tests results . God , continue to bless me and all loved ones !

"Age is catching up , dont be in denial " - I started to remind myself since yesterday ! I finally made a visit to the doctor yesterday ( 27 August 2012 , Monday ) after about a month-long self-monitoring of my BP. It was alarmingly high the night before ( 26/8), 180/100 just before I slept at around 2 am ! I told myself that it was time to see the doc , so that's how I landed myself at the doctor's office at around 12 noon yesterday . My reading before to the clinic - 150/88 At the doc's office - 180/90 My doc laughed it off ( he said it was impossible) when I told him based on my own month-long observations that the reading was good ( 125-135 / 70-80 ) for most part of the day and would take a climb starting around 5 pm in the evening .i must say that I am a little cheesed off with his remarks , need every case be a text book example ? I am not without knowledge about how BP fluctuates in a day ! In fact , i am myself puzzled how my BP readings varied in a different way ,defying the established medical findings ! It is exactly this that spurred me to do self monitoring before seeing the doc . i still have all the records , detail records of BP and pulse rate at regular intervals throughout the day. Another thing that puzzled me - how is it that my BP readings vary so much with the doc ? I am sure I wasn't anxious in any way in the doc's office ? In all the previous visits concerning my thyroid conditions , I must admit I was feeling the jitters but the doc had never said that i was hypertensive ! I went for my blood test this morning ( yet to know the results ) and I pray that the findings will be in my favor ! God , let only good news come to me ! COZAAR 100 mg - I am starting half a tablet beginning today ! Will see the doc again on Thursday at 2 pm .
