Temporary distractions !
Second Day - The poor puppy was brought out to get some sunlight after being kept in a box the whole night !
We tried to put the 2 sibblings together and see if the stronger one could help to cheer up the other !
The sight of the 2 siblings playing and licking each other was heartwarming !

2 remaining puppies from a stray dog were left under our car . The mama dog must have thought that this is the safest place for her babies !

Underweight puppy with a deep wound infested with countless maggots , big and small !
Too weak to move when our car was started !
The deep wound was treated with ANTITACK formulation specially for pets . many Maggots were picked out . I thought the puppy passed out for a while while this was done , due to pain of course ! But it was done with good intention .Pray that the little soul can survive !
Husband went straight to the store and bought feeding bottle & milk . We hope to nurse the little one back to health .
The puppy is not taking too well to polymer teats , we discover that it doesnt suckle! it is simply too weak !

In sync with circadian rhythmn !
This
morning I got up late again , despite being reminded by my good neighbor to be
on time for a breakfast gathering !
I feel
like my natural rhythmn keeps me up late, so being an
early riser is something I struggle with, more so after retirement !
Did I
set my alarm ? Well, I can
set my alarm for anytime and then still sleep right through it regardless of
what time I go to bed! I have been
trying to force myself to become an early riser for some time now to no avail. It makes me wonder how I managed to nurture the “ night owl “ habit so
effectively ! Can I undo this habit as well ?
The
benefits of early rising are many .There is a saying - Early to bed makes your
body healthy and wise. Studies show that morning people earned significantly
higher grades , are more likely to anticipate problems and are proactive ! Studies also correlated early risers with
traits like optimistic , stable and conscientious . But the same studies also
associated night owls with greater levels of creativity and intelligience
! Unluckily , they are more likely to be
pessimistic , depressed and possess neurotic behavior !
